Covid Measures

As an essential healthcare service, Audiology Services such as The Microsuction Earwax Removal Network are specifically exempted from the legal requirement for businesses to close. We have implemented stringent measures to ensure your safety, including sanitising surfaces, triaging everyone before they book, wearing full PPE, adding extra time between appointments to ensure customers don't cross paths as they enter and leave the premises, checking temperatures before customers come in, sanitising customers' hands and enforcing the wearing of a Type iiR surgical face mask (which we will provide if you don't have one)* for everyone's protection. Due to these measures, we believe our clinic rooms are the safest place you can be.

Although a significant proportion of the adult population has been vaccinated, we feel that continuing with these measures is the right thing to do.

According to the Goverment's advice in National lockdown: Stay at Home - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk), while travel is generally to be avoided, you can travel for the purpose of "visiting hospital, GP and other medical appointments or visits where you have had an accident or are concerned about your health".

You can read more about the UK legislation here.

* Although some people are exempt from wearing face masks when entering a "shop", in the most recent government legislation Audiology Services are exempt from the definition of shop, so everybody must wear a mask, which we will provide, for the protection of others, otherwise treatment cannot be provided.
